About Me

My therapeutic approach is all about you, the client. My goal is to make individual, family, or couples therapy a warm and safe space to help you make the changes you wish to make. I am flexible and will use different types of therapy depending on your needs and preferences. I often use a blend of ACT, relational, cognitive-behavioral, and psychodynamic therapies. I also often conceptualize using attachment and family systems theory. We will decide at the beginning of our work what will feel like the best fit for you.

A Good Fit

I work with individuals and couples from ages 18 and older. I find that I can offer the best support to individuals who are struggling with relationship and family problems, depression, anxiety, work stress, challenging life transitions, questions about identity and sexuality, and trauma and loss. Couples that I see are often having problems with communication, trust, or wish to improve the general quality of their relationship. Some couples are also trying to determine if they wish to part or want to clarify what they are hoping their relationship to look like in the future.

Additional areas where I am experienced are:

Infidelity, dating using apps, problematic online behavior, and high intensity occupations (law, medicine, and hospitality to name a few.) I am also happy to work with individuals and couples facing other problems not listed above and will help you to find a different therapist if you are seeking support in an area I do not cover.

I am an ally and welcome all gender identities and sexualities.

The First Appointment

& What to Expect

The first step is an intake appointment. During this first appointment I will try my best to get to know who you are as an individual or a couple and understand what current challenges you are facing. You will also have the opportunity to ask me whatever questions you might have.

I strive to make therapy stress-free. All paperwork will be sent to you to fill out online before our first session. After contacting me we can schedule a phone call if you have any questions or would like anymore information before meeting.

Rates, Insurance, and Licensure

  • My rates are $250 for couples appointments (55 minutes) and $225 for individual appointments (55 minutes).

  • I am not in-network with insurances and am happy to provide super bills (paperwork that helps clients to get reimbursed for their sessions from their insurance) for out-of-network coverage.

  • I accept all major credit cards, HSA cards, and cash

  • I am a PsyPact provider- this means I am licensed in nearly 30 states in addition to Maine

Good Faith Estimate

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges.

  • You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost

  • Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
